Many offer services such as family and relationship counseling, exercise programs and job search skills. While some even make massage therapy and acupuncture available to their clients. The ultimate goal of nearly all alcohol and drug centers is total abstinence and long-term sobriety.

Success rates for Drug and Alcohol Centers are almost impossible to calculate accurately since graduates are scattered all around the country and an alcohol and drug treatment center's success should be based on the client's success after he or she leaves the rehab program. The success of each client should be the client's responsibility, not the rehab program's responsibility. The rehab program is responsible for providing the client with the proper information to acheive and maintain sobriety, however they have very little control over what the client does with it when they leave the center.
